Age Calculator
Calculate exact chronological age in completed years, months, and days.
Defaults to your current calendar date. Change to calculate age at any past or future milestone.
Chronological Age Calculation Methodology
The Age Calculator computes exact chronological age from a date of birth to an as-of date in completed years, additional months, and remaining days.
The calculation uses pure Gregorian calendar arithmetic rather than dividing elapsed milliseconds by 365.25. Completed years are measured based on whether the annual birthday has occurred in the as-of year. Months and days are decomposed sequentially across variable-length calendar months.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the calculator handle February 29 birthdays in non-leap years?
For non-leap years, February 28 is adopted as the recognized annual anniversary date. On leap years, February 29 is celebrated directly.
Why doesn't the calculator show age in exact hours or minutes?
Without a verified exact birth time and timezone record, claiming sub-hour precision is mathematically speculative. We provide exact calendar day precision.
