1. LocalStorage vs. Traditional Cookies

Unlike traditional websites that set tracking cookies transmitted to web servers with every page request, PeekAndDo does not place tracking HTTP cookies on your device. PeekAndDo is presented by PeekAndDo by OURBRIZ Studio. We use browser LocalStorage strictly for functional client-side preferences and convenience.

2. Technical Disclosure of Browser Storage

The following three keys are stored locally in your browser:

  • peek_theme: Functional preference storing your selected visual appearance (light or dark).
  • peek_preferences: Functional settings storing your selected UI language (en or es) and regulatory jurisdiction (e.g., US, KR, GLOBAL).
  • peek_recent_tools: Convenience history storing an array of up to 7 recently visited tool identifiers so you can resume work quickly. It contains zero calculation inputs, zero formulas, and zero personal data.

3. Zero Third-Party Tracking Cookies

In our current deployment, PeekAndDo sets zero marketing cookies, zero analytics cookies, and zero social network tracking beacons.

4. Future Monetization & Consent Management (CMP)

The operator maintains an existing Google AdSense account. When commercial advertising is connected for peekanddo.com in the future:

  • Google and certified third-party ad vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites.
  • For visitors located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a Google-certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) implementing IAB Europe TCF v2.3 will be deployed to collect granular consent before any ad cookies or tags load.
  • For visitors in applicable U.S. states, privacy opt-out signals and Google Ads Settings controls will be respected.

5. How to Clear or Manage Stored Data

You have full control over all stored data:

  • You can immediately clear your recent tool history by clicking the "Clear all" button in the Recent Tools section.
  • You can reset all preferences anytime by clearing "Site data" or "Cookies and other site data" within your browser preferences.
